Growing up, Matt Green was one of the leading nerds in Burley, Idaho.

The photographer, Matt, always tries to bring out natural poses and expressions. Maybe you're a serious person. Maybe you're a clown. Whatever you are, Matt will work to capture you, not somebody's idea of you. By capturing a good variety of poses, expressions, clothing changes, and settings, Matt strives to create a selection of images that show each senior's true personality.

People assumed he had artistic talent because his Dad was an art teacher, so they made him the yearbook photographer at Burley High. This assignment multiplied his nerd quotient, but it also set him on the path he’s still following today.
Matt believes a portrait is supposed to say something about the person. It’s not a mug shot. That’s why he tries to understand his subjects, so he can photograph them in a way that makes sense. The best compliment he can receive is hearing parents say, "Wow, that’s MY kid?" or "How are we supposed to choose from these photos? They are all so good!"
When not behind the camera, Matt runs and races mountain bikes, often with his fiancé, Erin. He’s also found a new obsession: sailing. He plans to retire on a sailboat and circumnavigate the globe.
